How is Advanced Manufacturing Defined in the North San Joaquin Valley?

We define AM not by what is produced, but by how it's produced. In the NSJV, Advanced Manufacturing industries:

  • Adopt or seek to adopt innovative production technologies (e.g. precision engineering, robotics, smart materials.)
  • Produce high-value, often climate-aligned products, including building materials, mobility systems, and testing and measurement devices.
  • Offer high quality jobs with strong wages and advancement opportunities.
