What your colleagues are saying about MCCV

A collective voice for manufacturers in the San Joaquin Valley

Headquartered in Modesto, the Manufacturers Council is the collective voice for manufacturers in California’s Central Valley region.  The organization was established in 1991 when the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District was formed. The founding companies realized there was no group to collectively represent their interests as stationary sources. From there, we have grown into an organization whose primary emphasis is on environmental, regulatory and workforce development issues, helping companies network with each other, and presenting a unified front to regulatory agencies. We also advocate at the local government level in Stanislaus, San Joaquin and Merced Counties.

WHAT WE DO: ADVOCATE AND INFORM

Advocate for Industry

  • Proven experience in dealing with environmental and regulatory issues
  • United front for industry
  • Provides increased credibility for the industry with regulatory agencies, staff and leadership. Power in numbers!
  • Represents industry in public meetings so individual companies don’t have to be out in front on issues and in the public eye
  • Works with workforce training providers and the educational system to promote careers in manufacturing in order to meet the demand for technically skilled workers, now and in the future.
